Soft peach and grey…..

I thought I was in love with the yellow and grey theme….I still am, but this is another one of my favorite color combos now.  Maybe because Dusty Miller and Brunia are two of my favorites to work with since they add such great texture to bouquets.  Very elegant, very classy…

Succulent Weddings

I love the new trend with using succulents in wedding bouquets and centerpieces.  This is a very inexpensive way to add great depth and texture to your flowers, and you have a long-lasting succulent to use once the rest of the flowers have perished:-)

A few of my favorites from Style Me Pretty:

Just for fun…..

I was honored when my wonderful friend Shari asked me to take some photos of her adorable family…of course I couldn’t say no:-)    Thanks for the fun afternoon and for being such troopers on this cold fall day~

Pinterest…..

Are you hooked on Pinterest like I am?  I absolutely love pinning my favorite “trends” for weddings.  I hope you find it useful as it reflects my style when it comes to floral design.  This is a great tool to use when thinking about a theme or look for your wedding.  Inspiration boards are very useful in organizing your favorite ideas, colors, etc.  I’ll start to post my favorite “pins” on here as well….Also, you’ll notice my Pinterest link on the right side of my blog….check it out- and have fun browsing:-)

My favorite trend right now?  Yellow and Grey…..love it!  Check out these great ideas…simple flowers, but notice the gorgeous succulents used in the bridal bouquet.  Inexpensive and add great depth and texture to bouquets and centerpieces.

Congratulations Stacy and Ruben!

I had the pleasure of designing the flowers for my husband’s cousin Stacy, and her fiance Ruben this past weekend.  The bride chose a mix of flowers with sunflowers being the focal point.  The decor truly matched the beautiful country ambiance at Yellow Gold Farm.
